Membership Fees for Financial Year 2024-2025
Full Member Countries
- Per capita fee: £2.80 (up to a maximum of 1500 members per association).
- A 1% reduction applies for payments made within 30 days.
Associate Member Countries
- Fee: £1.40 per member in excess of 25.
- A 1% reduction also applies for payments made within 30 days.
Individual Orthoptist Members
- Open to orthoptists who cannot join a National Association or whose association is not a full or associate IOA member.
- First-year membership: Complimentary.
- Renewal fee: £30.00 for a 4-year period.
Fee Exemptions for Individual Members
Orthoptists from low-income economies, as defined annually by the World Bank, may apply for an exemption from IOA membership fees under the following conditions:
- Eligibility: Based on the World Bank’s annual list of low-income economies.
- Application: Submit a request with supporting details; communication via WhatsApp is available where email access is limited.
- Annual Renewal: Exemptions are valid for one year and require reapplication.
- Monitoring: The Membership Committee will review all applications for compliance.
