- Only one representative per country may hold an Associate Membership for ophthalmologists. If multiple individuals apply, the IOA encourages a unified decision regarding representation.

Application Process
To apply for Associate Membership for Ophthalmologists, applicants must:
- Submit an Application Form: Include professional qualifications, current role, and interest in orthoptics.
- Provide Supporting Documentation:
- Proof of qualifications as an ophthalmologist.
- A statement of interest outlining how you plan to support and collaborate with the IOA.
- Review and Approval: Applications will be reviewed by the IOA Council to ensure alignment with IOA goals and values.
